In preparation for Citizenship and Immigration Canadas new Off-Campus Work Permit Program (OCWP), SDCs International Student Services will be presenting OCWP Information Sessions for Westerns international students and interested members of the Western community.  (NOTE:  As of June 1, 2006, international students at Western will be able to request Verification Forms - details will be released very soon).

) S2 c# ]( e9 Z% b4 V) Z( ]·         Provide details on the OCWP Program
·         Explain the application process (including obtaining Verification Forms)
4 v3 g5 I+ d2 `4 U* I·         Assist students with questions they may have about the OCWP Program
It is strongly recommended that international students interested in applying for an Off-Campus Work Permit attend one of these information sessions.

The Off-Campus Work Permit Program information sessions will be held on:
; n) m/ Z% [/ v: @- `9 Z1 }/ ]·         Tuesday, May 30 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
, L' g0 U; D8 l5 C; q·         Tuesday, May 30 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
·         Wednesday, May 31 from10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
" S: D; q/ _' E+ J, h" y/ ?3 u2 i·         Thursday, June 1 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
6 X* \* \2 k8 B: Z1 y, }·         Friday, June 2 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.
$ \$ D( l, h8 N8 gAll sessions will be held on the 3rd floor in the University Community Centre in the USC Council Chambers (Room 315).   

  X5 g: r3 l! E0 eAdditionally, SDCs International Student Services will be providing guidance and advice on the completion of the Off-Campus Work Permit application form, or regarding the Off-Campus Work Permit (OCWP) program, during OCWP Drop-in Hours (no appointment needed).

O.C.W.P. Drop-in Hours will take place in Room 270, on the 2nd floor of the UCC at the following times:
·         Wednesday, May 31 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
·         Thursday, June 1 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
