5 R/ Q- i5 [3 r& p( p& i* v$ eA female pedestrian has died in hospital after being struck by one of two cars that went airborne in a crash near Credit Valley Hospital this morning.
- b% U6 l+ J$ \( P2 DPeel Regional Police have shut down the intersection of Erin Mills Pkwy. and Eglinton Ave. after the crash between a Honda Civic and minivan occurred around 11:20 a.m.
0 M( q6 |8 w1 {, r+ c1 e1 nAlison Weeks, 42, was one of two people at the intersection waiting for the light to change. She was transported to St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto via air ambulance.
% \5 J& s% q0 ]6 e' G- e- TCst. Erin Cooper confirmed this afternoon that Weeks died in hospital.
# Q. K$ U" A) i9 t5 y3 N6 u2 z6 dThe force's Major Collision Bureau is investigating the multi-vehicle crash.
